FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH — HARTLEY, IOWA

**Early Service** 6:30 a.m. Sanctuary (cooled). Pastor Linda continues Ruth. Communion Sunday — please bring your own cup, we're low again.

**Fellowship** 7:30 a.m. Basement hall. The hall is open weekdays 10–4 for anyone who needs it.

**Prayer Concerns:** Darlene Voss, recovering at home. The Kessler well. Rain. Those traveling.

**This Week:** Grief support Tuesday, 6:00 a.m., basement. Bible study online through September, same as previous years.

**Upcoming:** Fall Gathering September 20, starting 5:30 a.m. Potluck sign-up sheet in the narthex. Helen says the preserved lemon works fine in her mother's bars. She's tried it twice now. Don't let that stop you.

**Volunteer drivers:** Sign up to bring homebound members to early service. See Barb.

**Seed swap:** Sept. 6, 7 a.m., parking lot. Bring labeled packets. The Rutgers did well again.

**Cemetery committee:** Mowing shifted to Tues./Thurs. before 9 a.m. Volunteers welcome.

**Reminder:** Return water containers to the narthex bin after services.

**Youth group:** Resumes Sept. 14. Indoor activities through October.
