The Okta diagnosis shows what happens when the customer's own product evolution moves into that territory: Okta's XAA launch and AI Agents product page now cover agent registration, MCP connections, scoped credentials, and governance kill switches. The publication was explaining a category that the product itself absorbed.
This risk is specific to publications whose primary job is category explanation in a domain the customer is actively productizing. It does not generalize across the portfolio. TinyFish faces a version if browser-agent vendors' own content reaches equivalent operational depth. Coreshell, Elixir, and Shade Tree are structurally less exposed because their publications perform jobs — cross-source synthesis, evidence narration, donor storytelling — that product pages cannot do.
Okta — High. Product pages now cover the agent-identity territory the publication claimed. Category explanation is the job most easily absorbed.
TinyFish — Medium. Browserbase and Browser Use already publish operational content, but the domain's research surface (agent fingerprinting, same-origin policy) moves faster than any vendor blog. Watch whether vendor docs become the substitute.
Coreshell — Low. Publication monitors policy, procurement, and supplier gaps across sources. The customer's site sells anodes; it doesn't synthesize the pressure map.
Elixir — Low. Publication narrates clinical evidence across registries, conferences, and regulatory databases. The customer's site states device status.
Shade Tree — Low. Publication builds donor-facing climate narrative. The customer's site describes grant mechanics. Different job, different audience.
