EV pack pricing has no fresher public benchmark than BNEF's December 2025 survey: $99/kWh BEV, $81/kWh LFP, $128/kWh NMC. The trajectory embedded in that survey, annual pack price decline decelerating from 20% to 8%, remains the operative signal. No public data this cycle confirms whether 2026 is tracking BNEF's forecast of a further 3% decline.
Fastmarkets CIF CJK lithium carbonate is subscription-walled. The last publicly accessible figure dates to January 2026 ($16.50–20.00/kg), now six months stale. The China domestic-to-seaborne spread cannot be assessed from public sources.
Defense battery pricing (drone, UAV, UUV, 6T) remains unobservable in public data. No published $/kWh exists for qualified defense cells. Commercial BESS benchmarks are not proxies: MIL-PRF-32565 qualification, NDAA compliance, and supply-chain provenance tracing produce a separate cost structure that no public source tracks.
